Common Cold
The common cold is a viral infection of your upper respiratory tract—your nose and throat. Symptoms can include some or all of the following: a runny nose, a sore throat, a cough, watery eyes, sneezing and congestion.
Hay Fever (Allergic rhinitis)
Allergic rhinitis is an allergic inflammation of the nasal airways. It occurs when an allergen, such as pollen, dust, or animal dander is inhaled by an individual, if specifically caused by grass pollens, it is known as hay fever. While symptoms resembling a cold or flu can be produced by an allergic reaction, including: a runny nose, a sore throat, a cough, watery eyes, sneezing and congestion, it does not cause a fever.
Corneal Abrasion
Corneal abrasion is a medical condition involving the loss of the surface epithelial layer of the eye's cornea. Symptoms of corneal abrasion include pain, photophobia, a foreign-body sensation, excessive squinting, and a reflex production of tears. Signs include epithelial defects and edema, and often conjunctival injection, both from any swelling of the cornea and the excess tears. Crusty build up from excess tears may also be present.
